  1. Lawrence R. Cornair of 4655 Schoharie Turnpike, SBL#76.00-2-9.4 is applying for a Special Use Permit for the purpose of constructing a pole barn on vacant land. After reviewing the application the Planning Board recommended that the applicant obtain a driveway permit from Schenectady County Highway Department for their new section of the driveway that egresses onto Schoharie Turnpike. A motion was made to set a Public Hearing for May 6, 2004 to hear the application of Lawrence R. Cornaire to construct a pole barn at 4655 Schoharie Turnpike by Fred Siegel and seconded by Larry Breakenridge. Roll Call Vote: Fred Siegel-Yes, Larry Breakenridge-Yes, Sherrie Wages-Yes, Laura Silva-Yes, Bill Ruther-Yes, Mark DeLeva-Yes and Walt Miller –Yes
  2. Dansk Associates –Owen and Eileen Dresher, purchaser and representative are applying for a one (1) lot Minor Subdivision on Skyline Drive, SBL #4500-3-12, 111 of 10 acres for the purpose of constructing a single family residence. After reviewing the plot plan a motion was made by Laura Silva and seconded by Fred Siegel to set up a Public Hearing for May 6, 2004 at 7:30 PM. Roll Call Vote: Laura Silva-Yes, Fred Siegel-Yes, Bill Ruther-Yes, Mark DeLeva-Yes, Larry Breakenridge-Yes, Sherrie Wages-Yes and Walt Miller-Yes
  3. Valley Mobile Home Park Owner and John Iseman, Representative, are applying for a Minor Subdivision on Western Turnpike, now zoned C-2, SBL#68.00-2-28 and are also applying for a Special Use Application for the purpose of adding storage units after the approval of the subdivision. After reviewing the application the Planning Board recommended that a "to scale" drawing be made showing the distance from the surveyed lot lines to the buildings and the property lines of the neighbors. A complete list of instructions is with the application.

Other

  1. Rick Runnels seeking information concerning a paint ball club. Jeff, a representative and Rick Runnels presented to the Planning Board a plan for a "Recreational Paint Ball" club on Batter Street across from the "Indian Lookout" property. The idea seems to fit the area quite well. Layout to scale, business plan, parking and other pertinent information must be presented at the May 6,2004 meeting for review along with an application.
  2. Kenny Meyer is seeking information for a house and golf course complex- Noone present to represent this item
  3. Scott Grey is interested in a mini golf course and possible batting cages at Dino’s on Route 7. A small race car track was also discussed. Basic plans for these items should be drawn up with a business plan and application if Mr. Grey wants to pursue it. These should be brought before the Planning Board for review at a later date.
