Please note that the following regarding Dog Licensing:
DOGS:IT IS THE LAW; ALL DOGS IN NEW YORK STATE MUST BE LICENSED!!!
Effective January 1, 2011 the State of New York will no longer be over seeing
the licensing dogs. Although the state will no longer be involved, the laws and
regulations remain the same. All dogs must be licensed and have proof of current
rabies vaccinations.
New dog fee schedule due to the cost of administering this licensing to cover costs
is 10.00 for spayed/neutered dogs $20.00 for unsprayed/unneutered dogs and $2.00
for replacement tag.
All dogs registered in Duanesburg will receive a new tag number in 2011 which will
include the town’s name and telephone number. If you have any questions please
