My staff and I welcome you. Our office is available to you in any way possible to
help with the assessment policies and procedures governed by New York State Real Property Tax Law.
Our department is responsible for determining assessments and maintaining property
inventory records, ownership interest and maps on approximately 3,500 parcels.
Our work involves plotting deeds, adjusting parcel sizes and transferring ownership
interest on our records & maintaining all exemptions that are received. We also provide
information to attorneys, appraisers, bankers, realtors, taxpayers and others.
Exemptions are available to the following property owners:
Senior Citizens, Enhanced Senior Star, Basic Star, Alternative Veterans, Cold War Veterans,
Disability, Business, Clergy, Agriculture & Wholly Exempt. The last day for filing in any
given year is MARCH 1 st. To review the various forms, instructions and commonly asked
